shocker questions

I have a question about shockers. Is it bad to run nitro off a pre-1999 shocker?

Also what is the air-assist and is it found on the newer shockers.

I am trying to decided weather to buy an older model shocker or save up more for a newer shocker.

nitro will work great with any shocker new or old... Air assist a a great thing to have it really helps, it's a hose that comes from a hole in the side of your shocker that shoots off extra gas. the extra gas taht shoot sout goes into the hose which is hooked into the elbow wich shoots the balls down faster.

I'd say go for the newer shocker, they dont come wiht air assist that's like 25 more.
