Anyone gonna be at Operation: Fastwalkers in Fayetville TN? I wanna know if anyone else is gonna be there... last game I went to was too small... I want tons of people to be at this one. it's March 23-24.

Fayetteville is about 1 and a half hours west of Chattanooga, and is south of Nashville (near the alabama border)

Yeah. The easiest way is to go up to the field on saturday around noon, and tell Mike (the owner) that you wanna sign up. I don't know the cost, or his conditions on paint although I know you can order whatever kind of paint you want throgh him for CHEAP. Once I get a 3rd man to go in with me and my cousin, we'll be signing up. And if you haven't played dayton's speedball field yet, you're gonna need to play it a few times before you get the feel of it. It's got a certain way to do everything on it, and certain key positions you need to figure out.

Well, since all I have been to are relativly small (100-300 people), I am guessing this one will be to. Find a few experianced players and stick with as much as you can on missions. Base defense is important, but running missions is the best thing to do. Don't try goin rambo and takin down the base yourself, unless of course you're with one of the good scenario teams that each team will have (at least 1 for each team). BEWARE OF TANKS! They r scary! We might actually build one on top of an old lawn mower we have and bring it though :D

no number... It's owned by a guy who has another job and his paintball shop # is his cel phone # but I forgot... best thing to do is just show up on a saturday between 12 and 5 and talk to them. No, I don't have a team yet. Joe goes to Notre Dame...

You guys need to hook up with my team on Signal. We are gonna start working on making an all-out speedball field soon in this field my cousin has. He also has a bunch of friends that go to Redbank that play. Our 3rd guy is Ryan Long if you know him. I really don't know what my cousin's subdivision is but I can find out... He's getting a bushmaster and Ryan's getting a cocker. We're gonna try and win these 2 fairly large tourneys in Harrimann TN, then form a 5 man and try to get sponsership. Our 4th guy is kind a cheap so he won't get on the field to show off his kick a*s at-85, but he's good at repairing our guns and practices with us.

Yeah I know the name, but I've never met him. You guys should come play with us sometime. Most of the people we play with are newbs with stock markers tho. We have a handful of better players tho. I've gotten pretty good at showin newbs the ropes. Probably cuz Partsmart always sticks them with me. lol. Anyway, i've got a pretty sweet speeball field next to my house. It's woods, but speeball style. It makes a pretty good field. I'll try and have you over sometime. I live kinda near the dam on the Southside. BTW where is the april tourney, and whats the deal on the rained out tourney(make-up, cancelled, or what).

The Dayton tourney was postponed, to when I do not know (my mom has trouble taking notes) I will find out tomorrow. The april tourney (the one I'm going to) is in Harriman. It's about an hour and 45 minutes north of Chattanooga (get on highway 27, go north until you get to harriman, get on I-40, stay on for a few miles, exit to Kingston, turn left and go straight for some 10 miles) I posted a download for the flyer somewhere in this forum... Prize is 3 colored cockers... We're gonna dominate the rookie division (I know I know I'm gonna jynx it) Anyway it's one of my local fields (I live about 45 minutes away fromit) and it's awesome.

Dayton- $75 a team, it's series, so no prizes for each tourney
Harriman- $150 a team, rookie and novice/open classes, the prizes for this one tourney are 3 colored 2k2 vert feed cockers

most of the people who play at my house nowadays arent newbs, I know plenty of em could tear some teams in the area apart. And now with a new gun, jace is freakin god. Everyone knows quite a bit now. It takes more effort to hit someone nowadays than it used to.

Well, if you mostly play in woods style speedball you'll be in for an unpleasant surprise when you see their tournney field...I suggest at least play in dayton's field a few times to get the feel of a real speedball field. We're going up to Harriman in a couple of weeks to see their tourney field and walk it and map it.

well our woods speedball course is basically just like any other speedball course besides the fact tht there are twigs, not gravel

I didn't mean anything bad by sayin they were newbs with entry level markers, I'm just sayin that most aren't as serious about it as we are.

As for your speedbal course, it really is a lot different, for example, a certain trench, and all the underbrush. Mine is more speedbal than yours, except that mine is on a slight downhill, I still like yours better tho.

It was awesome. there were about 180 people there, and our team, though we got our buts kicked and base blown all the time, won because we couldn't be beat in speedball and found ALL of the props. It was great. You guys gonna be in the April backowoods tourney in Harrimann? we are pretty sure we are.
