Hey, when I get my FS-7 I plan on trying to get it to a pound lighter somehow. I am gonna do the 9V mod or something to my Halo B so i'll lose a lil weight. I am usin carbon-fiber grips and i'm hopefully getting the Deadly Wind Barrel because it accepts Freak Inserts and such.

Any other ideas on how to cut down my weight? My gun isn't heavy or anything, but it's just a little experiment. I think my gun weighed exactly 7.11 pounds. Fully loaded exept paint.

Don't take my word on that weight, but i'll know soon. I want to get it down to atleast 7 pounds even. The DeadlyWind Barrel is currently 5x lighter than the Freak System, and my Freak Kit is kinda heavy so that should help. Thanks..just a little project. lol.

You could get excess metal in the body and frame milled out. A small 45/45000 tank is light. There isn't very much you can do but extensive milling.

a 45/45000? that must get an ungodly shot count... :P

aside from the tank i'd look for thick areas of metal that deserve milling (like the inside of the older fs frames, i'm not sure if that's changed).

Aight, thanks for the help. As soon as I figure out where to get the 9V Mod from i'll have that in my Halo B.

A carbon fiber barrel will make a difference. when i got my stiff tip i thought i was going to bread it, now my ultralite is kind of ultra light.

about the 9v mod, dont you just take the harness for the AAs and instead plug a 9v in?

I heard that can burn my board up, so I didn't do it.

WOrk out?..... Umm ways to lighten a marker, Carbon Fiber Bolt (shaves an ounce), new lightweight ram (shaves about 3-4 ounces), barrel, tank, smaller reg.... you can do alot, but most of it is not really noticeable.

I heard that can burn my board up, so I didn't do it.

It hasnt effected my Reloader in a little over a years use.
Nor has it effected any of the teams Halo's with victory board.

By the way you want to use at least two nine volt batteries and not just one!!! If you use two 9's you will get a much longer run before needing to replace the batteries.

I guess I should put these things up on my site. I can make them for like $7.50 and it will simply plug into the current 9 volt adaptor that is already in the hopper.
