Apex better than Flatline?

I heard that an apex adds 50 ft to the distance of a flatline. Is that true?

Possibly, it doesn't really matter though at those distances you would be very hard pressed for the paint to break. There are some threads on this search.

Arent they the same barrel with a different shroud to match each markers styling?

No, they are not the same barrel with different shrouds.

I would say it might be the same as an a5 flatline for range from my experience with the apex. and not it does not add that much range to a flatlines range, it adds that much range to general effective range.
