The following things would make it illegal:
Trigger mods causing full auto or burst type fire that cannot be locked into semi.
RT Triggers
"No Tools" type velocity adjusters that do not have a tourney lock of some type.

Other than that there's no reason you can't use one. It's probably not the best idea in the world if you are planning on doing a lot of winning or competeing at a very high level, but for local rookie level tournies they're just fine. Some of the fields in my area even sponsor Tippmann only tournies which I thought was pretty neat.

Let me try rewording Coenen's response and see if you can understand it better.
Basically any upgrade that you want except:

Response Triggers, An upgrade that allows the marker to fire in an mode other then Semi - Auto if it does not have a tournament lockout, and any upgrade that allows you to change the velocity mid game without tools. You can do any other upgrade you want and have it be tournament legal. There are too many options available to list all of the legal upgrades. If you have more specific questions about a certain upgrade then ask, but otherwise do a search and look around at what upgrades are available.

Is English your second language perhaps? That could be the problem.

As long as your marker is; semi-automatic, does not have an RT trigger, and cannot be adjusted on the field you can put anything you damn well please on it(short of a grenade launcher) and you'll be #1 A-OK to play tournies. I can't put it any more plainly than that.
