hey guys i just got my impulse and dont know if i can run anti syphon through it for a while. i dont a HPA tank so i cant use anything other than co2. and wut kind of stuff shood i get for it. rilly need answers. thanks alot guys. later

you can run an Impulse on C02. Tt's not the best choice but, the Maxflow can take it, and they do come with a filter to screen out the impurities in C02.

As for buying upgrades, 3/4 of the people here will tell you to read the stickies..the other 1/4 (myself included) will tell you to buy the upgrades that they're selling.

heheheheheheh, true. the best ups for imps are made by NDZ, but in order on a stock impulse, buy a delrin bolt, an lpr, and a trigger, after that its up to you. read the stickies, they'll give you a good idea of what is a good idea to get next. and yes, buy them from ase or lewdogg, the prices are better, and they need to get rid of em.

if you run co2, you will want an anti siphon tank, its not an amazing idea to run a non anti siphoned tank on an impulse... or co2 in general for that matter. you will also want some type of on/off, so that the tank does not gas up at the wrong time, sucking liquid co2 into the tube. hehe and just a coincidence... i have an on off anti siphon co2 tank for sale right now, from my old impulse. check it out, 35 bucks shipped. click on the link that i have for stuff for sale. or, there is a hpa tank going for about 50$ in the trading forums right now, take a look. it needs to be hydroed, so its up to you if you want to take the risk on spending the money on it and having it fail hydro. the link is here. WARNING! if you decide to use CO2 on your Impulse, it MUST be antisiphoned, CORRECTLY. That means that not every A/S tank will work with your gun. The A/S needs to be custom installed in order to match up with the threading on your bottomline asa so that the A/S tube angles upward inside of the tank and actually anti-syphons. Otherwise, you'll just have a syphon tube :P

So, you probably shouldn't buy someone else's a/s tank unless you want to go through the trouble of uninstalling it and having someing install it correctly, OR if you also buy the on/off he is selling and if that asa is matched with his a/s tank.

Other than getting a/s and an on/off, I would get a tapeworm (very important for reliability/recocking issues), and then hold off from buying upgrades until you can get HPA.

yes, he is correct. i have used this tank on all of my markers, placing an o ring inside the asa to seal the tank at the proper angle. if he did decide to buy the tank, i would of course include the asa :crazy:

ok thanx alot. and ill buy that tank from ya but it will a little bit if u can hold it. and the asa comes with the tank? cuz if not id have to redo the syphon tube thing right? how much for the tank and asa shipped? cuz if u can hold it for a while like a week ill buy it from u jman. and i wood buy the hpa tank off the tradeing forum but i cant get fills here. only co2. *** but its better than nada. ok pm me with some answers. thanx
