For my 98c I'm planning to buy myself a red dot, I have a stock that comes off the back of the gun, not under the grips, will a raised sight rail be neccesary (sp) for me to look through the sight with a mask on?

dont buy a red dot. paintballs are too innacurate to hit dead on target. theres also the sinking factor at longer ranges. you are better off learning to placement shoot by taking a shot and seeing where it lands and then readjust your aim as necessary in order to hit your target.

Great post. Also, there are other reasons not to waist valuable money on sights, for instance, the Red Dot. When using a sight, you always are having to adjust the sight, lowering the play time, and giving the opponent more time to bunk you. Once you move, you have to adjust to the new distance. Even then, when you adjust it, you amy get it off, and have to readjust it. Plus, when installing a sight, and you have a full vertical feedneck, you have to get hte adapter and all the extra crap that you need, see mig's Spyder and how he installed a side light. Overall, sights are junk, like the Brass Eagle Blade. Dont get one, even if you think you will like one.
