I had an e-grip delivered to my house yesterday(off onlinepaintball.ca incase this matters) And i finaly got it installed and working i have a few questions about it. To cock the marker i have to pull back the bolt and sort of push it down and slide it forward for the bolt to catch on my trigger, is this normal with an egrip? and for my other question, is the "full auto mode" on the e-grip supposed to be sort of spuddery and almost inconsistant? I am using co2 just to let you know, any thoughts or suggestions would be great. Thank you

if you have any trigger mods that effect the sear (tape on the pin the sear rests on) take them off. your co2 could be causing the inconsistency. i would reccomend a reg and maybe a QEV upgrade to make your cyclone work faster and smoother.

One thing I have foud is battery can cause inconsistencys. My rechargable energizers well mostaly fire the maqrker, but sometimes thye don't give the boost to fire it, so fire 2 miss one and such. I put derical in today and well it worked amazing, never missing a beat. I use co2 and have tryed in the nice canadian cold, so hey just a thouhgt.

It might very well be the battery. Replace it with a fresh example. After you do this, try your gun again.

for the a5, um how old and used is it. Take the bolt out and see if there is some ware on the bult where its rounded, this might exmplain it. if not ya thats cocing is a issue.

When you put on your egrip was it hard to attach to the frame of your A-5. Your trigger assembely might be sitting on some of your wiring making it sit to high making it hard to cock..............just an idea i know i had to shove some of the wires and battery connector down when installing mine.

dude its ur battery if not ur got it in turbo (rebound) mode, the trigger has single, three shot burst, auto, and turbo (rebound) if u pull the trigger and shoots ones and u let go and it shoots againt that means ur in turbo mode (rebound) then just click twice clockwise and youll be fine, and if ur gun starts to miss fire then ur battery is going low (trust me dont use alkaline battery's) if u wanna be buying a buttload of batteries well just to let u know is that rechargable will save u money (be carefull when you take out the battery) cause if ur not the wire's will come off really easy to tear them off
