Air Travel Problems?

I was just wondering if getting your equipment onboard planes is a problem these days, especially going across the border(Skyball) If so, what are the alternatives.

A friend of mine just came back from a tourney out of state a few weeks ago and had no problems. All he did was just check all his baggage in, gearbags(w/markers and all). Though I do kinda wonder for Skyball, since Canada is anti-gun for the most part. Don't think there would be a problem though.

i thought it wasnt allowed.......were they disembled(sp)????also u could ship it to ur hotel and get it there.

Did he have air or CO2 in his bottles? It is against Regulations to fly with them full. The reason I put that out is I was wondering if they checked....

You see, if a 5000 psi tank were to rupture inside an airplane, it could very wee bring the damn plane down. I doubt they check, but I would never take a full air tank on our plane.
