timmy's in tournaments

My friend and I were trying to figure out why all the pros use angels and not timmy's. Pick up any magazine and all the players are using dark angels. Why would they not want to go with a gun that is MUCH cheaper, and can even be faster if you work it right? Anyone know why this is?

Mostly because it's new. The intimidator is actually becoming very big lately. You look now, and it seems most of the top teams are using intimidators now. Ground Zero just won the MGO using them. Aftershock uses or is going to use a couple of them. Bob's Ironmen uses them. They're actually getting pretty big

Also another thing to add in is Sponsor. If your Team is Sponsored by WDP it doesn't look good to shoot something else. That is another Major reason. There will be more Teams shooting Intimidators this season just look for them.

As Sofa King said there is a couple or more on Dynasty. They are sponsored by Cobra who make the Mamba Angel for them. I know that Andy Kopkock(probably not the right spelling) uses a Matrix. Rodney Squires uses an Intimidator. They are gaining popularity since they are such a great marker.

dont forget that new team, Team Sasquatch Hunters, they are a 3 man team located out of avon, ct who all run intimidators.

just got my timmy+nitro tank in the mail... I allmost cried opening the box..

So there is one timmy on team Meltdown.... and one gx3 on the way. (2 man team)

thats a good setup right? I play front with my timmy and my teammate plays back with his gx3..

yea, i have been saving for 2 moths, i just got mine a few days ago, its a serious emotional moment when you open that box with your hard earned gun plus xtras. i saved up to $1600 to buy everything out right and all at once.

yeah i havent seen any in big pro tounraments either. I get alot of crap from my team mates because they are like "all you see are cockers and angels, your gun must not be that great" but yeah i think it performs awesome and holds up pretty well. As for being a tournament grade marker, its fast and easy to shoot, i think it will be really popular next season, i have only been hearing more and more about them. Marc Gotfreid of total greif i think it is, is on the cover of paintball magizine with a purple/blue fade timmy with a lightning drop forward (same as my timmy, exept for...) and some reg i didnt notice what it was. So look around next season, you'll see alot more of them.

me and some guys from my hometown are on a rookie team...we do the pan am events. we use 3 timmies and 2 angels...and we win 1/2 of the time...not bad

Have you been to a big tournament in the last year and a half? Bob Long's Ironmen, and certain Members of Dynasty and Aftershock. Now GZ will be using them. They won MGO with them. I guess those aren't big name teams though.

The Intimidator is on a level with the Angel at half of the cost. It shoot's just as fast and doesn't chop. I don't see how you can get any better.

yea kr8er me and pet go to school with each other, and im his backliner for Team Sasquatch Hunters, we both run timmys now, and our third team mate is buying a timmy soon too.

and of course twitch, i would never forget the timmy god using his timmy ;) i'll bring a ton of rolls so i can take a ton of pics
