So one of my presents this year was actually good.I got a $30 gift certificate to a pro-shop an hour away.I'm going up there this Wedesday. The problem is i don't know what to buy. This store is known for their extremely high prices. But I want to buy something small from their or take a chunk out of something big.I have a stock ION and that's it!NO tank,NO hopper! Here is a list of stuff I might buy(only one)...I have $95 if that helps...
CP asa on/off
Q-Lock Feedneck
CP Roller Trigger(already messed with the stock trigger)
some kind of harness
take 30 off of some Invisions or Profilers
take 30 off of a HALO B
take 30 off of a egg 2
take 30 off of a HPA(really don't want to because the tank will cost to much)
...and think that's it...if anyone has any other suggestions please post them by Wedesday...PLEASE lead me in the right direction I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT TO BUY

umm if you have no hopper or tank..you should probably put the money towards one of those two..how much does a crossy cost american? i heard like 70 bucks? if so put the money towards a HPA tank.

get a hopper and see if you can rent a tank from your local field till you have the money to buy one.

if you buy a tank try to avoid aluminum tanks, especially a 48 ci. They are heavy, and they don't get a lot of shots per fill. Buying a tank would be the best choice, and an egg or halo would be good too.

Actionvillage ftw.
If its known for its extremely high prices, then use the 30 dollar gift certificate on a q-lock...the stock ion feedneck sucks. Then save up a bit more and get a halo b or a new tank.

what's the point of buying a feedneck if i don't have a hopper to put on it

cuz if you buy the hopper first you will have to sand it down a lot to get it into the stock feedneck. If you get the feedneck first then as soon as you get the hopper you will be ready to play.
EDIT: I would get the tank first. You can atleast play with a bad hopper without any problems other than not being able to shoot fast. If you don't have a tank you can't play at all.

Yup.
And don't worry too much about it being metal or carbon fiber. Just get some HPA. Either you can search for a used carbon fiber on pbnation/ebay (make sure it still has a long time before it's a paperweight (ie: know the hydro), or you can just buy a brand new steel/aluminum one off of actionvillage. 47ci/3000psi Crossfire and Pure Energy tanks go for <80 dollars.
Edit: Ah, just saw your post. Crossfire ftw. Don't worry too much about tank size. You do get all-day air anyway, so just fill 'er up when you need to. You'll get 500 or so shots off a 47/3k tank, when your ion is properly adjusted.

If most of their gear is overpriced, try to find something you need that isn't so your $30 goes further. For example, if their paint is reasonable, get paint. You'll need paint sooner or later.

Get a hopper first..... then a tank... you can always rent a tank...but can never rent a hopper... unless you want the $5 gravity feed. Also other equipment...barrel, grips (Dye Sticky) other gear....
