First Game!!!!!

i guess the title says it all todays mon. and tommorws my first PB game!!YAY!!

Me and 5 friends are playin woodsball at 1 of their houses. I guess this forum has no real reason im just to exited to not tell. but if u have any good tactics for woodsball and beginners things to do please tell but im playin around2:00PM EST. so post before then

EDIT: 1 more thing how much paintballs u think i will use playin 3-4 hours i have 4 140rnd. pods so thats 560 id say i might use a little more or a LOT but thats y im askin u

Don't expect too much the first time I came I expected my prior experience shooting pb guns at targets and 22s would help me get some kills. It didn't,I didn't get one kill. If youre playing other noobs though its more of a bravery game so charge in!

Thats exactly what im doing all except for 1 but he hasn't really played that much games he just shoots targets mostly.

In the woods, use your buddies. Don't wander off on your own. With multiple teammates you can use focus fire techniques to put a hundred balls on target rather than 10 in a short amount of time. Plus with other players to watch your flanks, you will be a more effective team.
Communicate with your teammates.
Use stealth and guerilla tactics.
Keep safety in mind at ALL times. Ask mgitlin if you need any more clarification on that.

Hey, I got back around 6:00 and i had a great time today. I got hit 3 times but only 2 busted 1 on my side and 1 right on my trigger finger, that was a complicated cleanup job trying to get it all out of the trigger frame.I kinda fell sorry for my friend that got hit square on his butt twice in a row. Overall I only hit 1 guy but i had fun and now I realize how little a paintball actually hurts all this time I've been nervous but I don't care 1 bit now.:D

but yeah, its not painful at all...well maybe the 1st few hits cause you're not used to it, but then as you go on throughout hte day, you get used to it and your adrenaline is just pumping like crazy so you just brush it off.

Although today is tuesday and you have probably already played. Its always good advice not to shoot your team-mates. Suprisingly enough thats not good for the team.

I dont know woodsball doesnt take as much paintballs up cuz its mostly sneaking around and stuff... unlike speed ball at an arena.

Alls I got to say is don't get shot in the dingle berries. This happen to a friend of mine on the first game that he ever played. The pore guy wouldnt play the rest of the day. And it took like 2 weeks of talking to him to get him to play with us again.

1000 rounds... I remember when I used to shoot that many.

I am lucky if I can get by with a case (2000) a day. Usually its around 2800-3000 balls a day. It gets expensive but its worth it. I am glad you had fun and now you will be addicted just like the rest of us.

All you need to avoid that is to play with a cup, I never leave home without one... uh, for paintball I mean, of course!;)
