Tippmann 98 custom electronic conversion kit

ok i was reading in a paintball catolog and it says they are selling a tippmann 98 electronic conversion kit and i was the wandering would this make me to be able to walk the trigger?

Just make sure it's for the Custom and not the Custom Pro. Sounds like you ran across an old E-bolt or ETS.

Well i know for a fact its not the ebolt because tippmann does not make the model 98 custom ebolt anymore and my freinds dad is a store owner and he tried to buy some that they had in stock but tippmann did not want to sell them so i was really shcoked when i saw this. It was in the fall catolog of 888paintball

Well it's not listed on 888paintball's website which makes me think that there was probably a misprint or that they finally sold out of some back stock they had. I remember for quite a few years they had those conversions listed, and even after they were officially discontinued they still appeared in the catalog.

Don't be afraid to give them a call and ask. Most of my dealings with them have been fairly positive, if you can get over the New Jersey accents and attitudes that is. If you've ever met someone from that part of the country you know what I mean. They really are trying to help you though.

Tippmann would hold a back stock of them for maintenance and repair purposes so as to be able to fulfill extended warranties or paid repair jobs.

they may have it listed, but im 100% sure that it will either be the crappy ebolt for the model 98 (the psycho ballistics one)....or they dont even have it at all......since they are no longer made.....if u want one, poleboy at model98.org is selling one
