I spend to Much $$ on paintball

Hey today I walked in to my local pro shop to just get my tank filled. I was walking around and then there it was the full freak I asked if I could see it and the next thing I knew I spent alot of money. Do any of you have this problem when you walk in to your local Pro shop? Anyways I love the freak.

I'm lucky :rolleyes: (i guess), my local shop is on the other side of town for me and i have a hard time getting there so i save lots o' dough for the important stuff.

You guys are all lucky to even have a paintball shop. I get to go to mine around twice a year cuz its 2 hours away and my parents are too lazy to drive me... cant wait till I get my license....

last time i went i was to broke to buy stuff, but i spend enough, like 70 bucks each time. i have to drive into sanfrancisco (actually my mom r a freinds mom has to drive me) but i save money that way. i order a lot of my stuff online case my shop's a rip, and they don't have the largest selection

Ya, my shop is expensive also. I order most of my stuff online. Even the workers (when the boss istn't around) tell other to order online because they know they are a rip off.

Ya I had the same problem and I cound that if I only take three dollers than thats all I can spend.:D it helps

I had that problem. I usually carry some cash on me, and when I left, I would always have none. So I started only bringing like $6 for the fill and tax. Then my credit card bill would have like an extra $100 some how every month... So then I stopped taking that, and now my checking account keeps showing debits that dig into funds that were earmarked for something else.

Now I just bring my licesence and a little cash. But then I might need gas, so I should carry my credit card.... :|


Anyway, that's the scarry part. At least you guys have the money you're spending...

i have the same prob. when i got my mag i went into get a ok barrel that would get me by. I do no, i think i am atracted to shiny objects. because the next thing i new i had bought a bran new 2002 smart parts all american, dropzone, 9v revy, squegee, spare parts kit. i spent every thing i had and then some i ended up having to barrow $27 bones from my dad so i could pay the man. i have allready got allmost 700 hundred bones into my mag in a matter of 2 months. for me that is phycodic. i went from a spyder compact to a mag and my wallet went from fat to slim.
i am about to go dump another $250 on a warp and intellaframe. and i still want to get a retro valve. i think i have a problem. :( :( :( :( :( :

If you are going to paintball paradise, you are getting ripped royally. That place sucks ***. Way too expensive.

ha u guys spend alot of money yea right listen to this. i ge social security disability cuz my dads disabled. iv recieved 9000 between april 4th and febuary 4th. 4000 went ito a CD so i cant spend it and buya car this fall whn i get my license. so there 5000 left 1000 is in a savings acount for some thing big or to pay bills like cell phone bill and subscriptions for pb mags. so i have 4000 left right. well i dont have it left but tha 4000 has been spent on paintball now my mom wont let me buy an angel unless i get rid of my guns or i get a job and save so im kissing my canoe, three wheeler, and spyder bye bye so i can get my angel. but i spend to much on pb and not quite all 4000 is pb i spent 250 on my coat and about 150 on cds but still thats alot still that ent into paintball

happens to me all the time. one time i walked into my shop and was just gonna fill my c02 tank, get some dye stickies, and a bomb 3-way and i left w/ all of those plus an 68 3k aci tank, a subca tank, aci fillstation, tank cover,and a case of paint. only wanted to spend 70 and ended u leaving w/ 500 worth of stuff.

He didn't mention I had to pay for it.

ok... you guys have probablems. my local store has maybe 150 dollars worth of stuff total. it has a co2 tank a case of paint a squeege and a mask thats all it has i dont know if you can call it store or some guy on the corner sellin stuff out of his truck...

we don't have a shop here in MT/ND. But the guy who arranges all our games(we built a speedball field on some state land) and he has a dealership so every sunday/or saturday we go to play. I always gotta buy some x-tra's

The way I avoid spending too much at the shop is I bring just enough money to get what I want. If I want something that cost 35 bucks, I only bring 35 bucks.
I must admit, sometimes it doesn't work. I'll see another thing I want so I'll go home, get more money, and then go back. :|
