I have an a5 with a response trigger. I use 20 oz CO2. Now every time i screw in a CO2, if its low, it will empty the co2 thru the gun thru the barrel. i took it to the local field and got him to check it out. He told me to always cock it before i screw it on. But he said she could still hear a small leak in the barrel. Ive checked the bolt and rings. help

maybe its the valve o ring thats worn out, just a rational guess.

If the tank is full there's no problem, right? How low does the tank have to be when this problem appears?
Was the weather exceptionally cold or hot when this started happening?
Have you remembered proper vanguard care like oiling the ASA and moving parts after you use it etc?

Take the gun apart and check all orings. make sure they arent cracked or dryed up from the col Co2 taht you use. Best guess, one of your orings is cracked and is leaking.
The second best guess is your air. Like Coenen said, how low is your tank when this happens? My guess is, is that your air pressure is too low, it isnt pressurizing it enough and is leaking the rest of the air.

Just to add to what everyone else has suggested (which are all good suggestions). Try putting a few drops of oil into your ASA before putting the tank on. Dry fire (without the barrel on) 4-5 times then check for the leak. If it is still leaking and it is cocked then check/replace the o-rings in your valve.

That happens to me all the time when i am very very low on CO2, it only happens when i cock it after it does the rapid fire thing telling me it has very little co2 in the tank
maybe put some drops of oil in the asa, and do a couple dry fires
