when i got my sharc for christmas i noticed that it had a defect with the bolt (wouldn't cock back far enough.) To make sure it wasnt just me i took it to my local pball store and had them look at it. They told me that theres really nothing i could do that wouldn't require spending some $ - which i didnt have. So, i called paintball-online.com and told them i had a problem. They sold me to send it in with everything it came with. i enclosed a letter signed my myself along with the original receipt and the shipping bill. After sending it in, i got it back maybe a month later (why does it take them so long). When i got it back, the box looked like it had been drop kicked my a mexican soccer player. I opened it up and my gun was still in there, but my letter and the receipt was gone, along with the barrel and the elbow. They left nothing in it but the gun. After calling Core's two telephone numbers i found out that they had both been removed. If anyone else has successfully contact Core, please tell me how. Otherwise i guess im just warning people about buying this gun. The company is really shady.....me screwed.

Call Paintball Online, they will probably be able to help you out in some way.

My sharc is in pieces in a box in my basement. =) I never was able to get it working after it fell apart.
Total waste of money for me. Hopefully the new design of the Sharc won't have so many problems.

yes paintball-online.com does suck...
if your going to order anything paintball related off the internet i've had very good luck with 2 companies
www.thepaintballstore.com and
www.paintballgateway.com
paintballgateway has better online customer service but paintballstore is still decent

Did you have any luck with them getting your gun fixed?
You should copy this whole thread and send it to them in an email. Maybe they would get the point that you are not happy with them.
I have bought items from www.paintballonline.com before and I haven't had any problems. :pissed:

Online stores are a convinience, kuz hey who wants to *REEEALLLY* leave their houser and drive around right? The truth is that even tho it may be more convinient(along with everythting else bought online) theres always more risk of getting "screwed over" rather then going to a store yourself. That way, the store is nearby, and if you have problems you talk to the person face to face, rather than through email or phone.
Im not saying all online stores are bad, hell, thats how i got almost every bit of equipment i own because of lack of paintball stores around here. best place ive ever ordered from is www.mrpaintball.ca and www.splatcentral.com
They are canadian sites(of course, im canadian lol) But im sure our american friends can get good use out of them. Other then that, theres always Ebay, ive never had any problems with that.

I wonder why www.paintballonline.com doesn't take care of some of these problems. The more people that read these posts the less people will be buying from them. I would think they would want to address these issues. The must be asleep or don't care.:dunce:

I have bought Tippmann after-market parts from www.countypaintball.com and I found it a good place to shop. I now buy 99.9/10% of my paintball equipment from www.copaintball.com. But I will still buy from Palmer's when I need a new regualtor for a gun.
CO Paintball now gives out free paintbucks and if you save up you can get a free case of paint. The good RPS stuff no seconds or house paint.
