So I've been looking at JnJ barrel kits trying to find a good price and noticed something. Their barrels have insane porting. Since I bought my first JnJ ceramic many years ago, they always had lots of porting, but it seems like they've gone overboard. Are they just trying to make the quietest barrel possible? It's got to kill efficiency somewhat. I'll still get one but thought it was kind of interesting. Anybody else think so?

the newest line they came out with, they design the tips and porting differently. Just to give it a new look like company's do with new products, it will quiet it down a little bit more... and wont really hurt efficiency.

They didn't go crazy. I have a brand spankin' new J&J S2 One Piece and it's crazy accurate.

Same as spydadude. Plus they shoot through breaks really well.
The porting looks like it's insane but they actually follow the 8"-no-porting rule. It is really quiet too. I get around 600 shots off of a 48/3000 fill with my eForce GTI.
