I have a Tippmann Model 98 custom....and as most of you know, tippmanns are gas hogs. On my next order, i am replacing my Tippmann x-chamber with a Palmer Stabilizer(i run CO2 still...). My question(s) are,

1. I have polished internals, and a DYE Boomstick barrel. I am thinking that if i put a lighter drive spring in the gun(Maddmann) that it will be able to acheive a lower pressure. How do i tell if I have reached the limit with how low i can go????

2. Is there something i can buy that will tell me how much CO2 i have left in my tank(like on the Spyder Shutter). I have looked at the CO2000, but i would have to buy one for all of my tanks. Is there one i put in place of my bottom line that will work w/ all tanks???

Thanks alot!!

If you put a gauge on the input holes on regulators, you'll find how much pressure is left in your tank. Or if you have an N2 tank, there should be a gauge that goes from 0-4000psi, or something like that. That's the gauge that tells you how much pressure's still left in your tank.

Im pretty sure there is no input hole on a plamer stabilizer.

No, all regulators have at least one input hole. If there is none, what would you screw your air fittings in? The output hole wouldn't work...

Soooo....Is there a gauge or something i can buy that goes before the reg...so it is like this.

Bottom line...hose....gauge....hose...reg

and if there is...where can i get it?

No one has answered question one yet either...

No... The gauge goes on the regulator... Have you seen a regulator with a gauge before?!

go to the website http://www.palmer-pursuit.com

i am almost positive there is no hole....anyway, im more worried about question 1!!!!!!!!!

Yes, there IS A HOLE!!! If there was none, nobody would buy it. Why? Because they wouldn't be able to screw their hoses into anything.

You are confusing.....i know there is a hole at the bottom where the hose connects. I thought you were talking about a specific hole made far a gauge. So how do i put a gauge in now??

QUESTION 1 is still more important!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, you clearly have not seen a Palmer Stabilizer. There is NO hole in the bottem of it. Most regulators have holes by the SIDE of it. There are a few that use the bottem though (i.e. WGP reg, Pure Energy reg). Stabilizers DO have an input hole, and that's where you fit the gauge on to find out how much pressure you have left in your tank. Listen to this following, and listen to it good. Gauges have the same threads as hose fittings, that's why they can be put on any 1/8NPT hole. Any other questions?!

Actually, I have seen a Palmer...i just said bottom because i knew you would know what i meant

Anyway, im more worried about question 1!!!!!!!!

I don't understand what you are asking in question 1.
