What type of tank would you recommend using with the ICD Freestyle Pro?

Any tank works fine. Crossfire is just one of, if not the, best.

HP or LP tanks will work, and dont buy a freestyle pro. They were discontinued by ICD because of Noid and QEV issues. Get an FSv7 as it is the same thing, only it works.

^very true. However, ICD does a mod that gets rid of the QEV's, fixing the problem. I bought my FSP used and the previous owner had it done so its fine, but I wouldnt recommend buying a FSP otherwise.
