Spring work?

Somebody told me if you stretch the spring inyour gun it increases range. THis dosn't make any sense to me, does it to you?

Increase your range??well yes...because.......it will increase your velocity.....a longer(which will make it a stronger) spring....will make the striker hit the valve pin harder....which in turn will make the valve stay open longer....which in trun will allow more air to flow.....which translates into a higher velocity...which you are saying is "range"...got it?..

It'll do the same thing as turning your velocity adjuster in a few turns.
