i just had my male palmer stab installed a few weeks ago and took my gun out on the field last nite. since the stabilizer lowers the input pressure on the gun down about 200psi, my a-5 was only runnin on about 650psi. now the gun itself will still shoot, but when i chrono'd it, the balls were only comin out at about 230fps (no matter how much i turned the velocity screw) , and since im running on a flatline, 230 wont put enough bac spin on the balls 4 the extra distance. so i figured 2 solutions 4 this.
1 - buy a new barrel which isn't velocity sensitive
right now im thinking about a JJ full tilt
OR
2 - LPK
PS. any1 else experience this problem b4 with a palm stab?

I might have a third solution. Have you turned up the output pressure of the Stab? It should be able to go to about 800psi.

Hmm, was it a brand new reg? If it was used, a good cleaning might be in order.

Was your CO2 tank just filled and still cold?
Are you sure the tank is full?
When a tank is cold it will lower the output pressure. Your Stabalizer can only regulate pressure down. It can't bring a lower pressure up. If you are only getting 700 PSI out of it, chances are, it's beacuse that's all that the tank is putting out.

I had the same problem with my Reg. I sent it in to Palmer and a O ring was shot. They replaced it and it is ok now.
BTW, I run at 600 psi most of the time.
