I took my tippmann Model 98 custom apart and everything flew apart. I know what the parts are called by there 'real' name but i need to know where they go. Can anyone help? PLEASE! If there is another post like this can you please just copy and paste because I was planning on going paintballing today soon. Thanks!

Here's what it should all look like when put together. Keep in mind your gas line will attach in a different spot unless you've already install the vertical adapter.

I have a question that Ive been meaning to ask, but I never got around to it.
Is this O-ring supposed to just sit there all by itself flopping around? It seems kinda wrong to have it like that, but there isnt anyway else to put it.
What does this O-ring do?

To be honest, I'm not entirely sure what it does, but it shouldn't really just be flopping around. If you use a little bit of gun oil on it, it will stick to the end cap like it's supposed to do though.

It keeps the hammer from slamming into the endcap.

Good save posting that Pic dude.

As for the little o-ring, its just acts like a cushion in the event that the stricker goes ALL the way back and impacts the back plug. The impact could potentially crack or displace something otherwise. I'm not sure if the stricker actually TRAVELS that far, but i think it's more of a manufacturers precaution than anything else...

Co2 isn't always stable, so the blowback can have enough force to make the bolt hit the back. I had a full boar rear-cocking device, and there's very little padding for it. The bolt hit a lot, and made my reciever crack. The o ring just goes around wherever. It doesn't effect the internals at all.
