I just use a crecent wrench to remove the valve and hammer caps (of course with a cloth inbetween so you dont scratch your baby)
I havent had the need for a vise.

the rest are normally sized allens....except for that damned bottomline max flo, you need a 3/8. About the biggest hex key I've ever seen.

I just use a vice for everything, cause thats what I got, use a crescent wrench if you want. All mine have been left outside by brothers, and are all rusty. My vice grip is well taken care of, so thats what I use, and that 3/8 is the biggest Ive seen too, I had to take 2 allen keys together to get that off, I dont have anything that big by itself
