Something weird happened while I was shooting my A-5 with W.A.S. board and my barrel adapter and barrel flew off and now the barrel adapter comes loose all the time. What do I do?

I simply repainted the inside of my receivers with model paint when it happened to me. Other A-5 users have tried other things to fix it too. I can't remember what they did, but maybe they'll post here to tell you.

LMAO, I've heard of this problem but yet to face it personally. The easiest way to fix this is to get some kevlar tape, used by plumbers, and wrap it several times. This should be the easiest and cheapest fix for your delimma.

Um... actually it's teflon tape, but you've got the right idea.
Sorry if I sound nitt-picky.

I'm not sure but this happened to me also. And I didn't wrap tape, glue or do anything crazy like that. I just turned it before putting the halves back together. And gave the front 2 screws a good tightning. I think if you have the adapter in the half a certain way, after you tighten it it can come out. So I just turn it the right way with the notches in side the halves to stop it from turning, then tighten it good.

Yea this happened to me as well. I tried Spy's solution, but the paint quickly came off. Now I just have to split the whole gun to put the adapter or my Flatline in.

you screwed your barrel in too hard probably and stripped the inside of your recievers that holds the barrel adapter in place HUZZAH! well just use electrical tape around the barrel adapter to give it a snug fit and be careful when putting your barrel on. (this happened to my friend) however if you are still under warranty then just send it to tippmann and they will replace them.
