Theo's b-day! (Formerly: "I never thought I'd get to make this kind of a difference")

First off, some background information. This began almost a month ago, when my parents said I couldn't play for awhile. (This verdict has since been reversed, btw.). Anyway, here's the post that began it all:



Okay, so there is this kid who has been balling for awhile with us, named Theo. Yeah, I know, what a wierd name lol. Anyway, onto my point. He has played for some time now, but currently owns a Trilogy 'cocker. He worked his butt off to get it too, but as I'm sure you can all imagine, it sucks. In the past I have let him use my 'Timmy for the day while I used my Proto, and I noticed that he played a lot better with it since he wasn't limited by his gear.

And since I can't play as much as I'd like to for awhile due to may parents hating me, I thought I'd do something to help another 'baller out.

His birthday is on January 4th, and he isn't expecting a whole lot, pretty much nothing paintball related. And since I really don't know him that well, he of course doesn't expect anything from me.

Haha, wrong.

In some random fit of nice-ness or something, I decided that come hell or high water, I am going to get him an Intimidator for his birthday.
I dunno what made me decide this, but I think it's a good idea, and I might as well help someone else out if I can't help myself out.

I've talked with 4thDegree about this, and he seemed to really like the idea. As of now the best approach would be to build it from scratch, from new/used parts. 4thDegree had some parts and/or money he was able to contribute, which was really cool of him. So I thought I'd post this up here for all of you to see, and comment on. But what I was wondering is if any of you have ANY kind of parts/money laying around that you'd be willing to contribute to the cause of helping out a poor 'baller to get an Intimidator? I just thought it would be cool to help out someone else for once instead of always thinking about myself, in case anyone is wondering why the heck I'm doing this.

Bodys, ram sleeves, LPRs, poppets, ASAs, paypal donations, whatever you can help with, please post it up! And spread the word too.
I'll of course will be paying for a majority of it. But anything helps. Anything.

The response to this thread I created in the BL forum was very positive, surpsrising even me. Some members, such as Todd (Lopez17), Peter (4thdegree), and Nick (Wagz/Waffles) went above and beyond the call and donated some things ranging from pants, jerseys, hoppers, all the way to pretty large sums of cash. I can honestly say that without their help this wouldn't have been able to come together the way it did!
Several others made paypal donations allowing me to purchase smaller parts; also, right now I have a ReloaderB in the mail for Theo that was contributed by the member fayceballer. Unfortunately it didn't make it in time, but I will still give it to him when it arrives.

Ohay, so here's the deal. Tomorrow is the day we are going to take Theo to an indoor Xball place near here, where I will then present him with this stuff in some manner (yet to be exactly determined) that will surprise him. Pics and vids will be taken of his reaction as he opens all this stuff up! Also prolly some of him playing too if I can swing it.
As of now, he has no idea that he's getting anything paintball-related for his B-day, so it should turn out really good.

So yeah, it should be interesting. 15 more hours to go until opening time. Hehe.

Actually for the $50,000 it performs just as well as a porsche, minus 10mph or so. Nonetheless, it tops out around 162mph, and who needs to go 172mph anyway?

There was a second factory built and it is in Ohio. Just go to the chevy website and search for factories.

Really, a corvette is like an Ion - a high value and performance mixture for a lower price than competitors.

Only the convertibles rattle too much. My dad's ZO6 on the contrary... I do agree with the second part because if you didn't have to drive a lot to get to your job, it would put too much stress on the engine.

Pics will be here also. His reaction was awsome to watch. He just stood there, mouth open, staring at the gun. Then we ripped open the package with the tank and hopper, then the clothes. For the entire day he couldn't get that smile of his face. It also helped that he played with guys from Dynasty, etc. who came over to get a b-day pic with them, eff, theo, and myself.

After that he played some 4 on 4 games on teams with the pros.
