The field has already been set up for the 1st Tournament Several teams have asked if they can come and play on the field before the tournament. The answer is YES.
In fact, there will be several teams that are signed up for the 1st tournament on the field this Weekend
We want these games to be fast paced and aggressive. The better you know the field, the better you will play it. ANY team that is registered (signed up and paid) for a any Tournament, can come up and practice WITH a discount. Entry and Air will be 1/2 price for these teams. Paint will also be discounted to $50 per case.
Some teams want to practice on the field without the crowd and without all the other teams seeing what strategies thay are working on. The Hornetsnest fields are open 7 days a week. You are welcome to come up ANY day. Please call in advance on week days so we are SURE things are set up for you.

Well, another GREAT Beginner's tournament. We had 16 teams signed up, but because of the NASTY weather, we started a little late with 10 Teams. Many of the teams that did not make it, were traveling from locations South or East of the Hornetsnest where the weather was much worse. We even had teams from Connecticut and Westchester County make it (talk about your die hard paintballers).. I can't believe how much paint these young paintballers thru at each other.
As you will see by the standings posted below, Insanity took 1st Place again. This is 2 in a row for them. They will now be moving onto Young Guns play and are ineligible for future Beginner tournaments at Hornetsnest. This is a win/win situation for everyone. Insanity gets to move upward and forward and the other teams are now in a better position to win future Tournaments.
The Insanity players are true sportsmen. They are gentlemen on and off the field. Couple that with good basic skills and an intense sense of competition, these young guys add great value to the sport of paintball.....
I would like everyone to join me in congratulating Insanity and wishing them the best.
