View Full Version : Why upgrade a-5 bolt

Ok seena few new bolts out there, but can't find much info on what good it is to upgrade them. So can someone give me details on what a new bolt well do and even recomendations on what ones are usefull.

Don't. There is no reason to. Aftermarket bolts won't effect performance in a positive way for the most part. The front bolt only cups the ball for a split second before it is propelled out of the marker.
The exception is the DOP front bolt and power tube. This is the only the bolt that is real-life proven to improve performance, but not a lot. I have a Shocktech Superfly and a DOP bolt laying around. I plan on trying the DOP one once I have my A5 functioning again.

If you have broken the stock bolt or have some money burning a hole in your pocket go for it :dodgy:.

Spy great link, but no one actulay answering the question I had lol. What are the info on what a new bolt is SOPOSE to do. I have heard better gas efficencey and less ball breakage. So what are bolts SOPOSE to do ???

Why upgrade an a-5 bolt you ask?
Well today is your lucky day!
1) if your old bolt breaks.
2) if your stock bolt isn't broken and you want to waste money.
