I like going there, but I have one complaint that stops me...

Everytime I get their BLAZE paint, it is so small that it rolls out of the barrel.

It even rolls out of the smallest FREAK insert .679. Then, my velocity is inconsistent, shots all over the place, etc...

This has happened on multiple occassions. ANyone else or am I just the unlucky one?

Ive never had a problem with the Blaze to tell ya the truth.
Last few times I went there, i used my Tippmann 98 with my Bigshot barrel and didnt run into any problems.

I dont use blaze as my paint of choice though.. if im not mistaken, isnt it medium bore?

Th m98 has a ball detent that keeps balls from rollin out.

When I take their paint and drop it thru my barrels, it doesn't even touch the sides. You wouldn't notice it shooting a marker that has a detent for firing.

Try putting a ball into the barrell and tell me what you find.

Dont worry about it. All guns should have a ball detente. So its not big deal. Try going when they have BYOP in the summer, and if you want just buy a small, small barrel.

Mac, look into the M98 and you will understand what I am refering to.

Anyways, I am just *****ing because every other field I goto has paint that fits fine...The Blaze I have used is so undersized that the smallest freak insert doesn't fit it...(read the top).

If anyone has some from the field drop it into your barrell and let me know if this is only a bad batch of paint or what...

That's really all I care about (before I go drop another $100 to play there and watch all the balls roll away). If that is the case, I will get the smallest barrell possible b/c they will probably shoot the Blaze at the new field then...

Yea, frontman, i think everyone here for the most part has gotten wind of that. As far as a definate opening date, im not sure but i think i heard that they pushed it back 2 weeks.

Idea!
Hey i think a few weeks after they finally do open it, we (us forum guys) should set a date when we could all meet there together.
What d'ya think?

Das coo... but we need a price list. It would suck to have to lay down 100 bucks for a couple hours.

Yeah, Long Island needs a lot more byop fields that way more people will get involved.

How about just charging cheaper rates for field paint? I would like the BYOP better, but the fields won't make any $$$.

Also, letting players buy different grades of paint...the BLAZE at Coram is horrible.

Unfortunately you really cant go anywhere (whether its byop or not) and not shell out less than $50 for a day (or night) of paintball, between the field fees and paint prices.

No wonder why there are so many Long Island "outlawers" around, me being included.
