I would go for the TL PLUS because it is VERY upgradeable. And also I have one and it is very good for a back-up at such a low price. GOOD BANG FOR THE BUCK.

Tippmann 98 is the best rookie gun period. Best shooter out of the box. $125 at bbtpaintball.com

In my opinion I'd go with the rebel le. It has many upgrades already, a real expantion chamber, vertical power feed, sight rail, double finger trigger, and one of the best damn grips I've ever used. The only upgrade you need is a barrel, and it takes most spyder upgrades. But It isnt my place to decide the gun for you.

The TL+ chops a lot of paint and also has a "fake" x-chamber. I'd go with whatever you like the most, personally the rebel and the millennium are the two up there I like the best.

i would get a tippmann m98 custom.....but alot of ppl here will tell you other guns, i have no idea, maybe they think its not as good as their 500+ electro whatnot guns, but really all i have ever needed is a tippmann. i added a regulator just to keep the weather related problems down. it is one hell of a relyable gun, and it seems to have less problems then my other two friends tl+'s. yea stock barrel sucks, just get a little better one, i have a 14inch AA. and im looking forward to gettin the tippmann response trigger, i cant wait.....also alot of people believe its a rookie gun, i believe its a gun for people who dont want to spend 500+ for an electro gun that i personally would ruin on my first day....i give my gun alot of abuse. in fact nearly everyone at the field i play at has a tippmann 98. a few have spyders and impulses. i see them messing with there guns alot more though

you can get an alley cat from icd for about 145 bucks. It is super quiet and accurate and indestructible. Its made out of aircraft aluminum that is cut from a solid block. Try and break it.
i'm a little bias, that was my first gun, and the gun i mostly use still. A lot of people use other products and pay more less of a gun. I put another 100 bucks in the gun for an expansion chamber and a smarts parts barrel and ill put it up against ANY mid level semi marker out there. It already comes with a true venturi bolt...
Manufacturer's Website Average Rating: 9.0 / 10

my bad, i thought the millenium was more than 200. i also thought that vert. feeds weren't good on blow back guns.
i think the rebel LE is a pretty cool looking gun and the grip is pretty comfortable, one of my friends has one, it had some velocity problems in the begining but after that it was cool, all you really need to do to that gun is put on new springs and a barrel.

Actually he is right, The alley cat RULES. I have one, but my dad wants me to pay 150 on this motorcycle! I am really pissed, it works better than my Brand new LE. But I am fixing the LE, and the LE looks cooler. So I need to sell it. I will sell it for 150 with a 12oz tank, VL hopper with a clear elbow(cool looking), and a mask. the mask sucks, but this deal is sweet! I will sell it to you for 150, and if you pay the actual shipping, I will throw in a nine oz tank. I am really needing to sell this, but I hate to let it go. Please look into this, it is the best deal you will find! If you have any problems the ICD costemer servise is excellent, but I doubt you will have any problems except an occational o ring.
