What is the best paint/barrel combo for a low pressure spyder and why? Right now I have a Lapco Big Shot shooting with Smart Paint, but there is a lot of ball breakage. Here's a Pic.
This gun was built from scratch.
Bob Long Body, Big Shot barrel, AKA lightning bolt and rear cocking setup, 32 degrees valve and pin, brass cup seal, 32 degrees springs, Taso LP chamber and vertical ASA adapter, Taso velocity adjuster, .45 Benchmark trigger frame and internals, both Male and Female Palmer stabllizers, quick disconnect on a steel braided hose, dye microguage, and custom side slot cover. This works at 375 PSI.

from what ive heard smartpaint is really small bore, you should be useing a lapco autospirit, also smart paint is super thin shelled
and inteded for guns that run around 180-250

Smart Paint is a small bore??? Isn't it a bigger bore because it had a bigger fill of paint inside?

grab your barrel and a few balls do they drop through your barrel?

Actually, I tried dropping Smart Paint through my barrel and they do not fall through. They actually create a tight fit and I had to blow air through the barrel very hard in order to get paintball out of the barrel.

then its to tight that can cause some breaks aswell
how old is the paint?

the paint is about a year or two old. Can old paint cause velocity variations?

well there u go... old paint = ball breaks, bad accuracy...
the bigshot is an excellent barrel for low pressure. just get some fresh paintballs for it. A lot of people like Team Colors and PMI Premium in the Bigshot.

any barrel system that uses inserts will improve any problem you have, and make the ones you don't have better.
