I'm from a big group of paintballers who have high end guns but want to start playing pump for fun, but don't want to pay a lot. I have an intimidator and i don't want to run out and spend $500 more on paintball to get a good pump gun, plus i would have to sway others to pay that much so i'm looking into buying cheap pumps from walmart and would like to know what's better, Blade, Saber, or Talon. I would also like to know how they all feel(like blade and saber have anti double feed, is it a problem for a talon?) I would like to aviod flame wars due to the fact that i'm not going to spend over $30 on a pump gun no matter what.

How much do Tigersharks cost? They are in my opinion the best BE pump, probably even the best BE gun besides the Rainmaker. They might cost more than 30 bucks though. :|

I like the talon,i played a game with my friends talon today and not a ballbreak.Double feeding isnt a problem either,it double feed once and it just shot em both at the same timewith no breaks.DO NOT GET A BLADE my friend had one and it broke not too long after he bought it.

I got a tiger shark, its kinda fun to use. If you can get one for cheap it is prolly the best BE pump.

yeah, but how good were they compared to you?
IMO the Saber is the best BE pump.

Unless you enjoy spending hours cleaning your pump guns (it's not hard, just VERY time consuming) I'd take a step up and get a tippmann sl-68 II for $108 a pop. It'll live a lot longer than you will. I do have a tigershark, and I very much enjoy playing with it, however the lack of aftermarket barrels, makes it hard to allow it to expand with my skills. The SL-68 has aftermarket barrels (J&J ceramic and tippmann 14" special sniper) that are excellent. I'd go with those.

However, if you just want a cheap pump, that's easy to clean and convert to stock class, I'd go with a tigershark. Talons suck to clean, and I have used on of those.

I've looked around and I have seen a total lack of tigersharks on the web or in any store. Anyone know where i can get one?

says something about out of stock, and the price is huge, double that of a Talon, i mean if it was like $50 i could got for it, but if i was getting that high it's a Kingman Hammer(i think) or Tippman SL-68.

I have a Tigershark for days at the field when I'm the only one who isn't playing for the first or second time. Lowers the intimidation on newer players, and they have a better time because of it. Plus, I walk away with a smile on my face from not spending a small fortune on paint.

Anyway, a Tigershark would get my vote. Only reasons for this are that, to me, a Tigershark has a better feel to it than, say, and Talon. There are also barrel adapters that let me use a Spyder-threaded barrel (but, I don't own a Spyder, so I had to buy a Spyder-to-cocker barrel adapter, too). So, for about $20 all together, you can use your Timmy barrel. Just because you're using a cheap pump doesn't mean you shoulnd't care about a paint to barrel match.

But, the main reason for my using a Tigershark is that you can use a screw in tank. If you're running a preset on your Timmy, you can just use it. If not, you can buy a cheap little Co2 tank and use it. This is much cheaper (and convenient) than using those little 20 gram Co2s.

Where can you find an adapter for a tigershark to use Spyder barrels? What about mods for Tigersharks, I've seen plenty of mod sites for talons but not to much for tigersharks.
