I don't think so, but there is a way to turn response time down and probably turn it off.

the way i have my rt set up is that i pull the trigger once, one ball shoots. If i hold the trigger down the rt kicks in.it is as simple as that. you'll love it. better than an electric that you have to change modes.

Nope, in most minor or major tourneys the Rt is illegal. They say its "full auto" or something like that.

But if you do turn the RT off you can play in most tourneys right ? .. or am I wrong ?

why not just get the tippmann custom pro with egrip or get the A5 w egrip? really when you are playing against kids with semi auto electros..unless you can hold your own in paintball the tourney kids will have an advantage w the electros..dont get me wrong..i play with a 98 custom w RT kit but in a few months i plan on getting an electro, whether that be a system X nme or a custom Pro E..probly a system X nme cuz its got major bling and its nasty and intimidating..or maybe ill lose my patience and get a custom pro E

You can only adjust the RT. It's not something you can "turn off". You can adjust it so you don't get the rapid fire. I'd definately go with the RT over the E-Grip for many reasons. Most have already been posted in previous posts.

Yeah, the best way to go is a Custom Pro E. It has the 5 firing modes, plus its tourney legal. All you need is a electric hopper or Cyclone Feed and youll have a great Tippy.

On the A-5 you can shut the RT valve off.

You can turn it all the way down, but not off.
