Im very much into tinkering with my gun and hav been working on somehomemade mods for my gun, the first is ashot counter/gamtimer made entirely of clockwork. Its about the size of a dime and im either going to attatch it to my hopper or drill it into mr trigger frame. The next is a totally cosmetic mod. After taking many household gadgets i never used apart ive found something suitable. Im basically installing a trigger light on my gun. its just like the ones of Defiants or Angels, when you fire the light flashes, pretty simple. The last is just a simple beaver tail, however ive left it with many grooves and threaded screw hols so i could attatch other pointless stuff. Hopefully sometime ill have the shot counter and trigger light in one "machine" and theyll be perfectly sacronized. Ill put it in the trigger frame 9mines plastic so its fit for drilling0 and have a "Dräko's super frame". as soon as im done ill post pics for your viewing pleasure.

P.S- im still workin on the gassy's : )

For the light, use a 9v battery. Anything smaller than that, and the battery'll die too quickly. Also, use an LED, much better than a light bulb, as LED's do not create heat. Don't want to ruin that LED, so I recommend you get some resistors as well. I played around with an LED with this same exact idea before. Anything less than 800ohms of resistance, and the light's too freakin' bright. By the way, know where you can get small solenoids? :) I could make my gun electronic, if I could get a solenoid that would fit inside my frame. However, I don't know anything about programming, so if I got my hands on a solenoid, I could probably only get semi.

I actually have a very unique prototype for the light thing, instead of hittin some type of small button or switch there are two seperate "open" electrodes, when the trigger is pulled back it touches both electrodes and acts as a condoctor, when the touch the light goes off, so the electrical current is actually flowing through the trigger to bridge the gap between the electrods. I know your all thinkin "so your triggers going to shock you?" No, it doesnt. If youve ever seen those little plastic blass that either light up or make noise when you touch your fingers to both electrodes its the same concept. Your fingers aare acting as the bride or conductor between the two. im gonna pos pics of the shot counter later, its so friggin teeny

It's fun stuff. So what it doesn't do jack-****? It's fun to upgrade your gun, it's fun to do your own trigger job, I'd say it's fun to use an LED to light up everytime you shoot.
I wouldn't recommend using two wires just nearly touching. That way you would be lighting up the LED everytime the trigger is pulled instead of everytime your gun shoots. How to make it shoot everytime is quite simple. Run a thin wire over to touch the sear. Keep another wire just under the sear. That way when you fire, the touching of the sear and the wire will complete the circuit. Also, it would look kinda ugly with some wires poking out right behind the trigger... It'd look better if you had a microswitch IMO...

Just slip the wire behind the grip, and where does the light go anyway? Too bad My dad wont let me screw around with my gun a lot. He just says, DONT FIX IT IF IT ISNT BROKEN. I hate it. grrrrrr

For the light, again, don't use a light bulb, use an LED for the reason that it doesn't generate heat. Also, I'd just put the LED somewhere with the grips. Just drill a hole slightly smaller than the LED and fit it through. It's not really a "bigass" battery, just a simple 9v will do.

Somewhere in your grip frame you can install the battery. Im going to drill a hole for my light its a little smaller than my safety and will go right above my grips. I have clear dye stickys so im thinking of installing a light that goes under them and illuminates them red.. OoOoOoOoOoO. Id have a micro switch on the back of the grip frame for that one... I love tinkering
