Haveing used both systems. I can tell you hands down the palmer is superior in rebuildablity, relaiablity, and ease of use.

The sonic is a GREAT product, I am not knocking it. However In my experence ive found palmer products to be easer to get and more parts are avalible for them.

Don't listen to him!! He's a palmer WHORE! :)

They will both offer you great performance, reliability, and easy cleaning and maintainance.

I say they will perform so close, you wont be able to tell.. on the chorno and off.

I would get a sonic, only because of the low profile and good looks. I mean, if both a Ford and Lamborghini (really LAME and untrue analogy, i know :) were the same speed and price, wouldn't you get the Lamborghini? :D

*I have the Sonic LPR. It is great in my experience. Great chrono readings w/ combonation with the Gladiator, RED valve and Conquest. Good looking, low profile, easy to clean and maintain. Flawless.

palmer whore!!!! yea what of it *grin*

seriously, the palmer does have one up on the sonic, its one hell of alot easer to get parts for the palmer than it is the sonic here in the usa.

also, palmer has a 24-48 hour turn around time on rebuilds. not to shabby if you ask me

what parts do you need for an lpr? i haven't needed to replace anything.
I shoot perfect strings over the chrono. but a buy w/ a very similar set up to me (but took palmers route w/ hpr and lpr) was getting almost the same, he was getting +/- 4. i was getting +/- 0!
it's pretty mch pereference. I think the sonic looks better, i've had 0 problems with it. they seem to yield close to same results. the sonic lpr comes w/ a ram guage though, so you know the exact pressure you're feeding your gun. really convenient for whenever you get a new part.

ya, theres a plus for the sonic. Including the ram gauge with the LPR
