Has anyone had experience with barrel adapters? I have a boomstick that is spyder threaded, and I'm getting a cocker. I know I can find the adapter, but will that affect the barrel much, or does it make more sense to sell what I have and buy a new barrel?

It skews accuracy up.

A barrel adapter has an extremely LARGE bore. A cocker needs the paint to match the bore of the barrel so that the ball stops at the end of the barrel and does not roll out. With the adapter you have an extra couple of inches for a ball to possibly move. Because of this you can either double feed or your shots will become inconsistant because they will have varying lengths to accelerate down the barrel.
