Hey,, My friend had just bought an Impulse last week, and used it one time. This weekend, he went to shoot it and it started to leak out the right side of the gun, out a rectangular hole in the side. Inside you can see an electonic board. The faster you shoot, the more and more air comes out. He was using N2 and Co2. Any suggestions. P.S,,neither one of us knows how to open this up. Any tips on that would be great too??

Leaks are usually pretty easy to fix, just think of it this way
"All leaks are caused by a seal not working properly"
That said, all you have to do is check each and every o-ring in the gun, check the valve to make sure there are no nicks or scratches on the seal, and check any hoses on the gun to make sure they are on tightly. Since you know the vicinity of the leak, check all the seals in that general area. I dont know specifically how to fix the impulse, but most guns are similar when it comes to fixing leaks. Just check all the o-rings, replace as neccessary, and reasemble, being sure to lube everywhere that needs to be lubed. And of course, clean off any dirt or teflon tape that gets into your gun

It sounds like he blew the seal out of the Valve assembly.Or the solenoid assembly. On this marker you need a on/off valve on the tank or before the reg.If you dont have a on/off you are suppose too back the reg out so that you don't hammer alot of air all at oce too the marker.Plus you are too use dow corning 33 lube on this marker. So say they us diffrent stuff but I myself use what the ask for.Take the marker apart and make sure it well lube on the o-rings.The owners manual tells you step by step on how too do this on the last page.

Ok, Ill check the manual. Where can u get a solenoid gasket at ,if thats whats wrong with it. Do most shops carry them. I know all he has on the marker is the gas thru grip and a preset tank. I know he doesnt have some kind of on/off switch

Well if he don't you got too back the max flow off so you don't hot shot the gun. Also have him open his marker and check his hammer assembly o-rings and his valve assembly o-rings also.On the sloenoid housing you got too split the gun in half. Then check to make sure the screws are snug, snug dont mean see how strong you are just make sure there tight or you strip the treads. there are how 2 guides at http://www.smartsparts.com or you can call them at 1-800-992-2147

My Impulse was leaking from the same general area. It would cycle but not fire. I have no idea what it did but I took out the hammer put a little grease on it and put it back in, and the gun worked fine.
