Ramp is a mode where 3 balls with come out every pull. Some baords cap rapming at 15 bps for tourneys who allow ramping.

Dont get a Nerve. They are great markers...but arent worth it anymore. Get a Shocker, Angel, or an EGO. :tup:

They arent plastic. They are Aluminum grade t-6061 aluminum.

Change that LP tank to a HP tank and maybe pick up a QEV other than that it's alright.

that isn't the type ramping smartpart markers come with
they have it you pull 6 bps, 8 bps, 10 bps, or 12 bps, then once you hit that, it jumps you to whatever is the max bps set (max board can go is 20) then you only need to pull at liek 3-5 bps to keep it ramping (shooting max bps set)

And Nerve is faster than you can pull with stock parts...
all gun's are slow if they aren't on ramping/auto/etc

Nerves are actually pretty good for the cash they come stock with freak,clmaping feedneck and ramping
and they have metal body all for 499

if you don't mind spending 200 more on the gun, you will get a lot more features

you can save and get a shocker, its not much more i believe, and its alot better, keep your eye open, maybe ther eis another marker that sparks your intrest.

freak barrel kit

smart parts on/off

pure energy hp tank

check it clamping feedneck

strange body kit

ya it rips to an insane rate i got pulled twice because they thought i was ramping in a no ramp tournament when the refs found out it was on semi they shat themselves so save up and get some upgrades on an ion they are very easy to maintain and th reason i bought the strange body kit was for the rear bolt easy opening area

i love the strange kit for the ION.

and yeah my promaster right now shoots as fast as a newve, and dosent chop as much , your better off getting an ION or ProMaster, and upping it, new reg, new barrel set, new gauge, new board (NOX).

nerve was a good try, but it's not as good as a shocker, and not as cheap as an ion, so it's basically found it's way to the bottom shelf.
i say save up and get a shocker, only beacuse you can then put more money into it if you like.
you can get an ion and put enough money into it to have bought a shocker, or you can buy a shocker, then spend the same amout of money on ups as you did with the ion, and make it even better than before.
but ions are still good, tisn't plastic it's made of, tis a really durrable composite. the shell is the same material that real guns are made of.

im not gunna down my nerve because my friend also has a promaster and my nerve kicks the promasters *** but thats because i think i might have one of the fastest nerves i have some friends that really know how to set a marker perfect litteraly my nerve can hit max pbs right now

ok you wouldnt chop if you'd turn your eyes on. ( if you dont know how... learn). if you think you "chopping" your likely just getting barrel breaks.( your getting crappy paint)

Well, I disagree with all of you guys. I dont' think some of u guys own a Nerve. because my nerve has chopped about 4 times out of the last year, and thats playing every weekend twice a weekend. As for compared to a shocker, its cheaper less maintenence, and isn't half as much of a gas hog. For Fire power, put a virtue on it and u can get it around 30 bps with ramping. I seriously doubt someone can get a Ion to do 25bps. As for ripping with a Nerve put a blade trigger on it and adjust it to your likings and u can get it to rip around 15 bps. and for those who think they can shoot over 15 with their fingers. Keep in mind most professional can't even shoot that fast with their fingers and they play for a living.

As for rampign for those who need it, it couldn't be any easier with a nerve. I can rip instantly over 30bps off the break in Psp mode. You just can't touch that. I don't even have 2 hit a certain bps rate. I can shoot 30bps with my pinky, or toe. Seriously, I tryed and I did.
