I dont see why everyone is getting so upset over him leaving Dynasty. I know they were good, but the Ironmen need some help, and he is the guy to do it.
As for being the face of Dye, I wish he wouldnt. Keely Watson > Ollie Lang

As it stands now it sounds like no deals have been signed , but what they are saying is that it is a sure thing by all accounts. Notice how they have not said "Lang has signed on to a deal , that we know is at least 100,000$.

I think everyone is more shocked than actually upset. Ollie was so loyal to the team, and he appeared to be the energy of it. This is why it is so shocking. Another reason is, that Dye is paying him more for an advertising icon than anything. They even said in the article that he will be the posterboy for dye. How bout buying a player for thier incredible talent, not how they wear your gear and hold your guns in ads. Anyway he did do the right thing IMO. Money talks, welcome to pro sports!

As I said , paintball is headed the way of Hockey, Baseball and other great sports , before you know it there will be 1 Mill dollar deals for players to be on a team , and trades will be happening at a constant level.

I can't say that I am surprised. I mean it had basiclly been the same core team from the start. It was only a matter of time before he or one of the others left.
I am with Jason on this one Keely>Any Dude :)

I think you'll probably be a bit surprised by my response on this. I have a lengthy post that's half written. I'll post it tonight here and on PBNation.

not really suprised that Dye offered him $100,000 to wear there stuff. i wouldnt be all that suprised if he left Dynasty either all though he is a large part of what makes Dynasty Dynasty and the team wouldnt be the same without him. i also aggree that paintball will soon be like many other sports with trading and all. "Oh God the Aftermath".

kind of a shame on one hand... i hate it when good teams start splitting apart. reminds me of when Rice left the niners. on the other hand, seems to me that dynasty has pretty much dominated paintball for a while now. mixing things up a bit should make it a little more interesting.

More like Nascar if anything. Advertisers pay big bucks to get get their name on a car..much like paying a player to wear their gear.
