I have a tippmann 98c pro E. it is very reliable. I enjoy it very much. The thing that pissed me off the most about the gun is that it chops balls really bad when i get up in BPS. my question is, is thier any up grade, custom mod, or anything else that i can do in order to help eliminate the ball choping?

Depending on how fast you want to shoot, you could get an agitated hopper (13 bps), a Cyclone feed (17 bps stock, up to 20-ish with a QEV), or a force-fed hopper (20+ bps).
Force-fed is probably overkill here. Cyclone won't need batteries, makes the marker a few inches "shorter," won't make extra noise, and can feed very fast (esp. with a $20 QEV). IMO unless you really want to have the hopper directly over the gun (i.e., center feed), go with the cyclone.

Cyclone if you're going to have this gun for a good long time, otherwise an Evlution II is probably the best option.
Also, don't be afraid to turn your ROF down a little, 12BPS isn't that much less than 15.

well the thing is that i already have a cyclone feed system on thier. so it is still chopping like crazy. so a hopper isn't really an opinion cuase i already have it.

Then why the hell is it chopping? While I haven't played around with a cyclone on a CP, my A-5's cyclone has yet to chop a single paintball.
Cyclone should be good up to 17 pbs, so unless you're exceeding that, it sounds like somethings not working right.

Check your fittings and rachet to make sure that they are all in good repair.

do you think that a low pressure kit would help with my ball chopping or just a waist of money?

1: You should use some HPA may help a little with chops
2: Don't have the rate of fire all the way up if your not using semi, only have it all the way up if the marker IS in SEMI mode.
3: My Egg 2 works fine for me
4: LPK would be a plus and in my opinoin helps a lot, if you have the extra cash. You may find that used lpk's are cheaper MUCH cheaper.
5: I don't know what type of terain you play in but, you could port your recievers do lessen blow back. Blow back may be your problem. (last resort)

You shouldnt need fast Bps if you have an accurate barrel...

Exalter you obviously don't understand what a real speedball game it like. It is spray and pray. More paint thrown at someone te higher chance it is of hitting them

Exalter you obviously don't understand what a real speedball game it like. It is spray and pray. More paint thrown at someone te higher chance it is of hitting themFalse. It is accurate volume, not accuracy by volume, or 'spray and pray.'
More paint put in the proper place gives a higher chance of hitting a certain opponent or giving your team some sort of strategic advantage by blocking that opponent from using his bunker a certain way or advancing to a place. A lot of the shooting that takes place in airball is not nessecarily to eliminate an opponent but to block him from making a move to eliminate one of you. This give the illusion of paint wasted, but it is not so.

Not always spray pray.
A higher bps will keep your opponent behind his bunker, just think its 2 on one and you plan to bunker the opponent. Now your teammate starts loading the left side of the bunker now your opponent can only stick out of one side (depending on how your teammate is painting the opponents bunker). Now its your chance to come around the side and blast the other team.
Also an accurate barrel will not help if you have a string of paint flying at your face.

Sorry, he didn't say speedball. What you said is true. When i'm behind a bunker and i hear paint constantly splatting on my bunker i'm not movin unless im last the one or two on the course. lol. My friend has an ion and he goes through 4-6 pods in one game.
