core sharc is chopping my balls

I just got my sharc and it is breaking a ball about every 200 shots. Then every ball after that curves like crazy. It shoots awsome when it is clean but right after one breaks it sux. Has anyone had this problem and could you please tell me what you did to fix it.

I dont own the gun but make sure you are shooting good quality paintballs and you may have to turn down your velocity some from breaking balls!

I have been shooting pmi paintballs. It is field paint so I don't know the exact how good it is. I am shooting at 330 fps so I am going to turn it down. If anyone else has had this problem with a sharc please let me know what you did to fix it or what paint works the best

I've had the same problem, only more severe. I broke like 1 out of 20 if i was lucky. I was using JT Maxims. I never got it fixed. Good luck returning too, CORE is a *******.

Are you shooting the right size balls?

When I was using the stock barrel I had that problem sometimes. The barrel likes to get a little loose. When it does, it would like to chop balls. All I did was add a few wraps of teflon tape to keep the barrel from loosening.

I had a core sharc for a couple of months now and I noticed the shar clikes harder quality balls like marbilizers and such it works pretty good with that type.

Thanks for all of the help. I an using Team Colors, and I turned my fps to 290 and I haven't broaken a ball sence.

Well duh if you're shooting cheap paint through a blowback at 330 what do you expect? Jeez.
