98 Custom bolt

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knew what the standard bolt (the one that comes with it) is made out of? I have checked it and it seems to be some kind of plastic, does not say in the handbook either.

The old style ones (the kind I use) is made of aluminum, just like the rest of the rear bolt, but the newer ones are made out of plastic, sturdy, but plastic. From my experiance with one (bout 10000 shots) they work fine, but a little louder than the aluminum ones.

Thanks for that. For some strange reason I thought mine had been fitted with a delrin bolt or some other aftermarket one, as it was on display in the shop where i bought it from.
