Which is better 12 or 14 inch barrel and why??

All a matter or preference, however it is PROVEn the 14 inch will shoot two inches frther :D, why you say? because it 2 inches longer :)

no, 14 inch barrel wont shoot farther than a 12in.
less if any. it takes approx. 7 inches of the barrel to get the ball moving at its max velocity. then the rest is for accuacy. so 12 and 14 are prolly the same. if any the 14 inch might not shoot as far, because the ball has time to slow down cuz of the friction of the ball against the inside of the barrel.

I agree with Petwoody. Also It's only two more inches, but it will seem like a lot when you are hitting the end of it on trees and bunkers because it is to long.

I wish, high end barrels were made in the 8 inch range, I like 8 inch barrels.
