I was fooling around with my gun tonight and I got it to dry fire itself at 18 bps!! Just a little useless information for ya. The wierd thing is it only does it with my halo on(the only thing cool about it so far). Im going to see if I can get it to shoot paintballs by itself.

How do you know how many bps it really is shooting? heh, have someone count the shots for 1 sec? hehe:P

I'm not trying to bad on you July, but that's the problem with most of todays "shot counting software" is that it doesn't count strings of shots. It looks for the shortest time between 2 shots. So while you hit 18bps, it was probably just for 2 consecutive shots. And since the board remembers only the peak speed. You get your fastest 2 shots.

Like I said, I'm not trying to bag on you. I justf wanted to point out how that worked, because I'd never put much thought into it.

Yeah I know its the max rof, put it fires at a consistant rate the whole tiime so Im assuming its 18 the whole time or so close to it that the rhythm sounds exactly the same. The Vibration fires the gun so it pretty much fires as fast as it will go. I cant seem to get the max rof readout more than 18 in semi and more than 19 in other modes with th eye off. Like when you bounce the trigger and its going pretty much the same rof as long as you have your finger in the same spot.
I first noticed it when i was shotting and I ran out of paint with the eye on and it was firing itself when I went to set it down at like 3 bps or whatever they slow it down to. So I turned the eye off and tried it and it still did it. Im hoping I can get my gun back to exactly the way I had it so I can mess around with it again when I get more air.

The DY8 was suppose to have an everage rof disply but I guess they didnt have enough room on the display.
