I have done everything to my A5...from going to HPA, to stripping and reassembling the feeder, to using a micrometer to assure the barrel and paint size work. I am STILL breaking paint in the cyclone feeder. I do not have any leaks, my RT is working fine and installed correctly. Does anyone know what the problem could be? I'm ready to smack this -censored- A5 against a tree. I'm still awaiting a responce from Tippmann. Anyone out there know anything about this?

Is it breaking the paint in entrance to the breech? Does it appear to be trying to double feed? I'm just trying to get some general info before I think too hard about it.

I don't really know what's going on inside the feeder. I don't see it possible to double feed but somehow the feeder is breaking balls when it turns and I'm cleaning the feeder out constantly. What are some of the things that could cause it?

I suppose it *could* be a worn ratchet. How old is your A-5? I'm still trying to think of possible solutions, so answer back.

I got the A5 for Christmas so it's still considered brand new!!! I'm still waiting for Tippmann to get back with me as well. Talk about slow to respond.

Did i do this from the start? Either way, send it in to Tippmann. It's under warranty, so make them fix it. Maybe a new Cyclone is in order.

Tippmann finally got in touch with me today, I'm sending it in. TY for all your thought though.

Like Spy said, it can be the rachet. When the rachet wears down it will often slip, or cause your hopper to struggle to chamber your next ball. It can really throw the timing of your cyclone/bolt cycle off. Also it would hog more gas. Even if it is near brand new(your A5), many people get faulty parts.
