Pods

I have been looking around and there seems to be quite a few pods. I have seen the generic, the fat boy, the JT, and a bunch of others.

Is there any real difference in the pods(maybe like some are prone to open when in the packet or one is tuffer or whatever)?

I can only tell ya about these, I like'em! They hold alot, they are easily filled. and seem to work for me.
The only problem that could go wrong (it hasn't for me, yet!) is they are a very tight fit when slipping the pod into the speed collar. You could crack the elbow between your hooper and your power feed. It takes a little bit of force to get the pod into the collar. The other thing is if you were to take a direct hit on the opening end of the pod (where the "fingers" are) you might have some damage.

What are those pods by JT that are able to be thrown like a football. Someone was telling me about them and they could hold like 200 paintaballs.

fatboys are nice too.mine fit snug in my pack and hold 150.

I personally like the fatboys. The lid an all are one piece hinged steup, unlike some of the others that have a collar that the lid is hinged on. I have yet to have a fatboy open up on me from taking a bad slide or fall. Some of the others I have used would pop open.

about pods i got a questions.
I was playing at a indoor field someone was at the left 50 i ran to the right 50 while shooting i slid and i didnt make it all the way so he was still shooting at me so i rolled and got behind the bunker and got him out.
So after the game i checked my pod and then i rolled i broke about 20 paintballs? Do they make really strong pods? lol

i got a few 32* pods and gotta say that they pretty much suck, one always opens up and the other breaks balls for no reason, luckily i found some redz ones on the field and no one claimed them when i asked around as to who owned them, so i got some good pods now.. 32* bad,,, redz good

I have the planet pods.. i find them just fine, i can slide on my pack with all the pods full and no lids pop open

i dunno why are pods so expensive??? i personally use the redz... but from my friends fat boy seems like a good brand... also the jt football pod is called.... i think the slammer? or is that the name of the hopper... well i got no idea... sry.:eyes: :confused: :eyes:
