I have to go with spyders. Not only do I own one, but The were the first to come out with that shape, it has been copied over and over agian, but Kingma got it right the first time, Not to diss the piranha or anything, cause it is a awsome gun too.

I love my piranha pro (g2) because it looks cooler then spyders IMO. but thats besides the point, the pro has a vertical feed, venturi bolt, and PMI in my opinion has better customer service. Spyders are a little easier to upgrade but not by much. only bolts and frames are differant

Get a piranha bottomline. They are great guns that are very reliable gun the only problem is the Ball Stopper but that can be easely fixed.

i think spyders owned pirranas until they came out with the g3 pro with the aftermarket barrel and pmi pureenery reg but overall i think spyders

Actually, the first Spyder used a PMI design, but I won't go there. I think the G2 and G3 STS and PRO are the ways to go.....I need to stop rhyming.

If I was you, I would have to go with a Piranha G2 or Piranha G3. They are similar to the Spyders in many ways, but are much more gas efficient. A friend of mine has a G2 and he does wonders with it. I have shot it before, and I have to say that even without a drop forward it is one of the most well balanced guns I have ever had the pleasure of shooting.

go spyder. higher quality, better known, and better trusted. i love my spyder, never broken a ball in the gun.
just in the barrel (dye) and that was during fast fireing.

I say go Piranha. Get a STS G3, they are great. Plus, PMI has *the* best damn customer service. I dropped my G2 from a little too high and it broke, so I sent it to them. A few days later a brand spankin new STS G3 was at my door. I love those guys. The gun is great, durable, easy to field strip, hardly need to field strip, havent chopped any paint with G3 and didnt with G2.

Bob Long Millenium!!! It is basicly a tricked out spyder! It comes with a 60 dollar barrel, 30 dollar 4 stage expansion chamber, 20 dollar low pressure chamber, 70 dollar trigger frame, and the body alone is 70 bux. It is vary easy to field strip, has a vert feed for faster loaing, and has a high R.O.F. I owne this gun and i highly reccommend it. I think it beats a spyder or a pirahna any day.

one of my friends owns a compact, the other a pirahna *spelling* i shot both, and both operate almost identical. both feel almost identical. shoot just as far. just as accurate. your asking a two-headed question to me imo.

they have there own tournament called the Spyder Cup

they never had a pirhana cup.

pirhana isn't good enough yet...... and they'll never be as good as spyder

all the other companies are spyder wanna be's
they should come up with there own gun instead of cloning a spyder and then adding one thing and selling it.

Spyders and Piranhas are alot alike, but theyd o havbe some differences first of all Spyders are made in like Tiawan and Piranhas are made in USA and the other difference is that Piranhas rock and Spyders are ok

Piranhas are better than spyders period.
1. better coustomer service
2. the trigger is the sweetest i have ever seen stock on this kind of price range.
3. better construction than spyders
4. more reliable
5. better looking, on the new G3s the paintjobs are frigging sweet
6. feels better in your hand, i own both and prefer to use the piranha. it feels solid in your hand and with stickys they feel even better
7. overall a better gun

gogogo prianha sts g3... awsome gun beats any spyder. spyder may have their own tourny but pmi makes their own paintballs which are pretty d@mn good.

I have a piranha g2 w/bottome line. nothing too amazing, but a great gun for the money, and works find. Plus it's easily upgradable.

Spyders are ok too, but I've heard they break a lot easier than piranhas.

For all those whos said the Piranha is a spyder clone:


PMI/Sheridan made THE first stacked tube blowback marker to hit the makret, called the VM-68. After this gun was released, the f-1 Illustrator came out, with a newer design. Kingman CLONED the VM-68, and claimed they made it.

Well looky there, Kingamn cloned PMI.


Second, kingman DOES NOT have higher quality, they cast parts, and dont make consistant body's. that statement is just dumb.

PMI, is the better company, while both guns are very comparable, the Piranha is better in most areas.
