do you guys think the x-chamber is or could hurt my tippy's performance, I have been using it because I lost my front grip and I like the feel of it even though I have HPA but I heard that the shoot down on a tank can be increased by a longer section between the tank and the bolt, although I haven't had any problems so far. what do you guys have to say? I want to save up for a palmers but that will be a month or so..

Shouldn't present any kind of problem. My 98C still has the X-chamber in place and has worked just fine since I switched over to HPA.

You can make it to your bennifit... Hollow out the expansion chamber and turn it into a volumnizer.

I've heard of some people saying it hurts their consistency, but I wouldn't mess with it unless you experience problems with the x-chamber.

Tecnically, an X-chamber only helps for liquid CO2 and will hurt performance if you run HPA. However, the second of the two is faaaaaar less important. In other words, if you run a gun on CO2 without an expansion chamber, many performance issues, some guns won't even work on straight CO2. X-chambers with HPA however really only hurt valves that suffer shootdown...which would be electros, Mags, and higher end guns. And even these you really won't notice it at a low-moderate rate of fire.
If you need the foregrip, buy another one or buy a gas-thru...but keepng the expansion chamber probably won't hurt you unless you have an A-5 with an e-grip and an upgraded board or something along those lines.
