Ok, I have a plan. I don't own a BE gun, but lets do this. Lets go through ALL the reviews and any that have no detail or are just flames, lets report them. It will probably help a lot.
Why do you care what the reviews say. Who ever runs the review section will delete them. Besides reporting a few(garbage)reviews won't change all the indepth reviews so why bother?Besides, what do you want to help? Its rep? I got a thread for its rep and Im not getting any responses which tells me nobody has anything good to say about B.E. guns so the reviews must be accurate.

actually it does help, a lot of people just go in there, and write up a totally fake review just to make a marker look bad. Reporting does help, and if you feel that you have come accross a bogus review, report it. We are in the process of making a new review system that should help to cut down on the bogus reviews that some of the immature users post. Its sad that they do it, but....
How can you tell that a review is BS when it has detail? Most reviews say the same Pros and Cons over and over. You can't nessesarly say that the review is crap because you don't like it's rating when it has lots of details.

Ummm AK, I think it's pretty obvious when someone posts something bogus.

AK there is a reason why we have the "report" feature available, if you cannot handle it or understand it then that is your problem
What do you mean its my problem? I don't care about the reviews! Cleaning the garbage reviews is Your problem, not mine. Im not obligated to report anything, appreciate that I take the time to help keep BS reviews off the site. I do that for other users and they do it for me. It keeps everybody happy.

If I ever see a false review or bogus review I report it!!! It did help the gun rating because I reported like 5 or 6 bad reviews!!! So it helps and also if we dont report review. pbreview will loose its reputation as being an accurate review site! That is the whole purpose of this website here, to help people deside what products are good or bad! If one out of every 3 reviews is garbadge! Then who will trust this website as a source of information!!!!

AK, yes i know that is our problem, and that is why im trying to say, dont argue with it. That's right you are not obligated to report it, and I'm not saying that you have to either. But for those who feel that they want to help out they can by simply reporting the problem.
I'll do my share to keep the crap off the site because sometimes I need opinions before I get stuff so I'll help out with the problem. Like I already do. I think it would be better if this site had a good rep so I'll work towards that with you guys.

I actually went through all the Stingray reviews last week and sent a bunch of them in to be reviewed. It doesn't help a newbie to look at some of the posts about the Stingray. They should throw out all the 10's and 1's and make people start over.

Hey I need to ask a small favor around reporting a bad review. Please type in your name. If we see people busting there backs helping us clean up the site we would like to thank them, and if someone gets a little to carried away we like to give them a chill pill too! :laugh:
Just remember you can't bash or boast a product cause ya like it or hate it. If the review isn't exactly what you like, maybe you shouldn't try to cast judgement on it if ya know what I mean?

some poeple think a review with a score of 1 is bogus. I posted a legit review on Brass Eagle paint, and gave it a 1 (Worst paint i've ever used!!), and it got erased. :confused: :( :confused:

Let me ask you this, Did you go into great detail? I'll be the first one to tell ya I toss alot of 1's and 10's because they lack substance! When I see those #'s and all they say is "It sucks" or "buy it" I chuck'em! If you're gonna give it a 1 or a 10 you've gotta sell me on it. You better have alot of factual proof in both the good or the bad and in your final conculsion.
The other one's that I screen very hard are the "only tested" If you're not willing to buy it why should I believe it? I almost expect to see a book report written on these reviews.
People need to remember, that alot of outsiders that are new to the sport rely heavily on what these reviews say. If they are going to trust our opinions then we have an obligation to these people to lead them in the right direction. We can do this by providing accurate details.Including the good ,the bad, and with truth. not bull loanie!

uummm...about the names thing, I sent in a ton, like 30 or more reports about mostly BE guns. They said "fake" or "no detail" or something like that. Those are all mine.

My first gun was a Stingray. I don't think it deserves a 10 or a 1. I guess it depends on what else you have shot. But using the old clique it did get a lot of people into paintball but now the Spyder does this and it is a better gun (I think).
I tried to be fair when I gave it a 5.
