can they run off c02 if so about how many shots can you get with a 20oz.
how much does it cost to refill a compressed air tank

they can run off co2, but i dont suggest it. Shots i have no idea. Filling compressed air depends, both on size of the tank and where filling. Some fields offer free air, some charge for individual fills, some charge like a dollar per 1000psi and some just have a flat rate charge for all day air. if buying a compressed air tank, spend the extra and get a 4500 psi tank.

will they run fine on just plain old CO2?? or would it have to be anti-siphoned ??

they will.. but who knows for how long. You will probably get shootdown, bad velocity fluctuations. Also will hurt the internals, reg and noid faster.

ok..i was just wondering..and as u can see i dont run CO2..i was just wondering because a while ago i was lookin for a good electro that ran well on CO2...the search continues....

spyders, and new e-tippys would be about it.
For alot of money the PPS Blazers are nice, and are meant for Co2, and really fast for mechs.

Omen's don't have solenoid's do they?

their electronic. The solenoid is in the top of the grip frame i believe. Similar solenoid to a spyders.

Liquid CO2 doesn't reach that far in a Spyder, so the Omen's solenoid shouldn't be affected.

the co2 can cause flakes to come out of it, which in return will freeze it up so it doesn't move. Co2 will hurt the reg and internals more then the noid though.

My concern would be on hotter days where condensate can form in the gun, cool electronics and hotter outside temperatures might lead to condensation build up on the electronics.
It's not even a matter of whether the electronics will get liquid co2 on them, they just have to get cold enough to be able to form 'dew' or condensation. That is why Nitro is a primo choice for electros - No Risk - No Folly

Yeah, I just remembered that, gotta love sanding the rust off of the iron (or steel) internals of your marker because of condensation.
Another problem is carbonic acid, which is formed when CO2 "dissolves" in water, which actually has a large chance of occuring, and any acid will do damage to metal/electronics.
