I'd have to say a better barrel since barrels have the greatest affect on accuracy and I would think (at-least I would want better accuracy) you want a more accurate marker within reason (why waste too much paint when you can waste less to the same affect) and also because the barrels you get with the marker suck (well maybe not completely suck but there are more accurate barrels you can buy afterwards that are not to expensive).

The best thing any new player can buy to improve thier game is a thermal mask. You can't shoot it if you can't see it.

Other than that the only upgrade that just about everyone on this forum has in common is a barrel...that should tell you something.
